MeMA-Music programs use music as a creative gateway to strengthen literacy, critical thinking, reflection, and personal growth. Our programs are tailored to the unique goals of schools, community centers, and adult learning spaces. We collaborate closely with educators and community leaders to ensure our programming aligns with their specific objectives. Participants of all ages, youth, young adults, and adults, engage in reflection and creative exploration that builds both personal growth and lasting community connection.
Learning & Enrichment
Voices In Action is an arts-integrated learning experience that uses meaningful music and media to explore history, civic understanding, and the world around us while strengthening literacy and critical thinking. Participants analyze lyrics and context, then apply their learning through structured activities and original creative projects.
Reflection & Well-Being
Introspection is a music-based reflection program that creates supportive spaces for participants to explore experiences, strengthen communication, and support personal growth through meaningful music and guided creative expression. Participants create original lyrics that reflect their perspectives and experiences.
Media & Influence
Influence of Pop Culture is an interactive workshop that explores how music and media shape perspectives, influence decision-making, and impact the world around us through lyric analysis and guided discussion. Participants examine messages and respond through discussion and creative expression.
