Whether you’re new to writing or already have something to say, participants will learn to craft meaningful, impactful songs rooted in their own voices, stories, and lived experiences. Through the lens of hip-hop, they’ll build essential literacy skills while exploring the genre’s core elements—language, rhythm, structure, and storytelling. By analyzing complex lyrics and engaging in creative writing, participants strengthen critical thinking, memory, and communication skills—boosting brain power along the way.
