Chicago native Jeanne Warsaw-Gazga has spent over 20 years working in the music industry, promoting prominent recording artists such as, Janet Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Lenny Kravitz, Tina Turner, David Bowie, the Rolling Stones, Isaac Hayes, Boz Scaggs, Smashing Pumpkins, Sade, Tina Turner, 10,000 Maniacs, Simply Red, Ben Harper, and many more. Jeanne‘s music-industry career began with legendary Chicago retail chain Rose Records, for whom she worked as a buyer. She quickly rose to the position of Radio Promotion Assistant for Sony Records, and has dedicated herself to the music business ever since. Among her numerous credits, Jeanne served as Promotion & Marketing Director for an extensive array of major record labels, including Sony Music, RCA/BMG, Elektra/Warner Bros. Records, and Virgin Records/EMI. In addition, she founded her own consulting company, JW Promotions.
An avid fan of music and theater, Jeanne studied improvisation under Del Close at Second City, who is considered one of the premier influences on modern improvisational theater and participated in “improv” classes at Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago.
